However, this is your chance to put yourself in the position of a political analyst and see what you might learn from the research on how a world leader may behave or make policy decisions. INSTRUCTIONS Research the current leader from the state that you discussed in your Discussion: NATO Simulations earlier in the course .The nation I chose was Turkey. Write a concise paper on his/her psychological profile to the best of your abilities. Avoid the trap of merely describing behavior. What insights does the leader’s behavior reveal about his/her psychology? How can these insights be utilized as a tool of diplomacy? How could US Foreign Policy be informed by the insights that you provide about this individual? Judging by past and current actions, identify and analyze the following: 1. Strengths and weaknesses of the leader 2. The leader’s ability to compromise 3. The U.S.’s interest in the chosen leader’s country and politics 4. The foreign leader’s interest in the U.S. and its politics/policies 5.
