Some of the objectives that I am pursuing during my practicum experience are personal, professional, and leadership. On a personal level, to effectively negotiate the multiplicity of my practice with patient care and the work setup dynamics, I would focus on learning more about myself, besides enhancing my emotional intelligence.

I used to consider that DEI was a set of principles, but now I think it is something natural in my action and decision-making process. To prevent this, I will ensure that I constantly engage in self-reflection and cultural competency education to ensure that I never cease learning and growing. Also, I will utilize the assistance of fellow workers and mentors to get feedback to improve my practice.
