According to Moagi et al. (2021) in Mental Health Challenges of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender People, one of the most essential evidence-based interventions is the provision of culturally competent mental health services specifically designed to address the unique needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
