The practice has helped me to assess my clinical development and identify areas that require further development. Through the family practice clinic, I spent most of my rotation with adult and elderly patients, thus providing me with a lot of experience regarding chronic disease management and preventive care methods. However, I have found that I lack the knowledge of pediatric patients and issues related to women that I would like to gain in my future rotations to fulfill the requirements of the program. One of the most interesting meetings during this rotation was with a middle-aged patient who had complicated comorbidities (such as diabetes and high blood pressure).

It was so inspiring to observe the patient engage in self-management and professional collaboration between the patient and the healthcare staff despite the clinical challenges. It has highlighted the importance of patient-centered care and the role that effective communication plays in ensuring positive health outcomes. 

Moreover, an emphasis on community outreach and holistic treatment of the clinic made a significant impact, and I felt the desire to investigate the possibility of multidisciplinary collaboration in my future practice. Having had this experience, I am eager to continue developing my clinical skills and expand my knowledge to provide the highest quality of treatment to different patient groups.
